Orphanage Maison Fortune (Fortunate House)
After the recent great earthquake in Haiti, HIM Ministries knew something had to be done to support the poor and orphaned children of Haiti. Many Priests and Religious Sisters of our Altoona-Johnstown Diocese in Pennsylvania have mission projects in Haiti. HIM Ministries asked them what they thought was the best run orphanage in Haiti. They all highly recommended the Maison Fortune Orphanage in Hinche, Haiti, supported through the Diocese of Richmond, Virginia. We now have many child sponsorships with this orphanage. We hope to expand our program here in Haiti in the future. 100% of your sponsorship support goes towards helping these children.
