Prayer

A wonderful way to support Humanitarian Interfaith Ministries is through prayer. Please remember our HIM family - children, volunteers, teachers, staff, child sponsors, donors, and the nearly 30,000 children still living on the streets of Honduras and Costa Rica - in your prayers.

Donations

Your donations are desperately needed for the future support of our projects. Financial donations go directly toward the costs of construction for new buildings at to expand capacity for new children, to help defray the ongoing operating costs of the centers, and services for the children (education, nutrition, clothing, medical care, dental care, and counseling). Over 98.1% of your donation to HIM goes toward direct services and support for the children of Honduras and Costa Rica.

In addition, HIM can work with you to accept your donation of airline miles to help defray the costs of future mission trips. Volunteering

If you live in the greater Johnstown, PA area and would be interested in helping HIM as a volunteer, please contact Fr. Joe Maurizio at the number below. HIM could specifically use assistance with administrative tasks, including compiling and sending multiple mailings to sponsors and supporters each year.

Mission Trip Teams

One mission trip is scheduled to the El Progreso - San Pedro Sula, Honduras area each year. While each trip is unique, it typically focuses on construction  projects for the children at the Proniño centers. The mission trips are also a spiritual retreat where Catholic mass is celebrated daily. Pictures from previous mission trips are available in the Photo Galleries section of our website here.
